Our Robotics Program Levels
Explore the four stages of our robotics curriculum designed to develop real-world engineering skills at every level
Level 1: Creator
For students just beginning their robotics journey, the Creator level lays the foundation. In this stage, students dive right into building their first robots—learning essential skills like mechanical design, CAD modeling, basic electronics, and programming. With hands-on guidance, students work on exciting projects where they create parts, assemble robots, and write code, gaining confidence in their problem-solving abilities. This is the starting point where curiosity transforms into real-world skills.
Level 2: Innovator
At the Innovator level, students take their robotics skills to the next stage by customizing and expanding their robots' capabilities. This is where they also begin developing mobile apps to control their robots, introducing iOS and Android programming into their toolset. Students enhance their robots with advanced sensors, refine their mechanical designs, and use intermediate coding to make their robots respond to real-world stimuli. Whether they’re building new features or programming apps to control their creations, Level 2 sets the stage for technical and creative growth.
Level 3: Designer
In the Designer stage, students take complete control of their projects. They build advanced custom robots from the ground up, integrating mechanical systems, electronics, and sophisticated programming. Here, students explore multithreaded coding and real-time robotics functions while creating robots capable of more complex, real-world tasks. It’s a stage where technical mastery meets creative expression as students design robots that think and act independently.
Level 4: Engineer
The Engineer level is where students tackle real-world engineering challenges. Working on fully autonomous robots, they’ll dive into advanced topics like AI, machine learning, and systems integration. At this level, students apply all the skills they’ve learned to solve large-scale problems, designing intelligent robots capable of adapting to new situations. This capstone stage prepares students for future STEM careers, where they’ll be equipped to lead the next wave of innovation.
